Advocacy Committee

Advocacy committee educates our organization and the Bruin community about current and future mental health props and bills going through the government. The advocacy committee aims to work towards enacting legislative change that provides greater support for individuals dealing with mental health issues. They advocate for the expansion and diversification of mental health resources through coordination of student group liaisons and co-programs with student organizations, including student government.

Past Events:

They are constantly working on our Active Minds Conference, which is held every spring quarter.  They also work with our Outreach Directors, giving educational presentations about mental health on the Hill.
