OUTREACH COMMITTEE
The outreach committee is focused on expanding mental health programming throughout the UCLA and greater Los Angeles community. Members in this committee are great communicators and have a deep passion for spreading the conversation about mental health to diverse communities.
Past Initiatives
- Mental Health Kit Distribution: in collaboration with MBI Health, assembled and provided mental health and basic necessities kits for the houseless population in Skid Row
- Tabling at Westwood Farmers Market: provided mental health resources to the Westwood/LA population
- Flower & Affirmations Distribution on BruinWalk: distributed free flowers and handwritten affirmation cards to brighten students' day and raise for mental health and self-care
